Mow less frequently, allowing the grass to grow a bit longer to build natural drought resistance.
Cut less by raising the blade height on your mover. Never remove more than a third of the grass blade in a single cut.
Leave clippings on the lawn surface as they will act as a natural mulch, locking in moisture and feeding the soil.
Regular scarification and aeration aids drought tolerance. With less thatch on the lawn surface, water and nutrition will access the soil more easily.
